Work With Us

We’re building the opening team for Wild Things at Nature’s Corner, a new kitchen, bakery, shop and gathering space in the heart of the Wendling Beck landscape in Mid Norfolk.

Opening this November, Wild Things will be a relaxed, generous place centred around seasonal food, sourdough, pastry, great coffee, vegetables from the on site market garden, fire cooking, pickles, ferments and food that feels thoughtful without being fussy. We’re ambitious about what we do, but we’re not interested in formality. We want to build a place that feels as good to work in as it does to visit.

We’re currently looking for

‍ ‍Front of House Manager ‍ ‍

Front of House Supervisors

Front of House Team

Barista

Chefs

Kitchen Porters

Bakers & Pastry chefs

There’ll be a mixture of full-time and part-time positions, with most roles starting ahead of our late November opening.

A different kind of place to work

Wild Things sits within the Wendling Beck Nature Recovery Project, surrounded by the landscape and produce that will shape what we cook. The kitchen and bakery will work closely with produce grown nearby, alongside great local and British ingredients. Food will change with the seasons and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to learn — from sourdough and pastry to fire cooking, preserving, pickling and fermentation. We’re looking for people who are curious, generous, reliable and genuinely interested in food and hospitality. Experience matters for some roles, but attitude and a willingness to learn matter just as much. For the more senior positions, we’re looking for people who want to help shape how the place works from the beginning.

What you can expect

A beautiful working environment, seasonal food, sourdough and bakery, great coffee and drinks, proper training and opportunities to learn, a collaborative small team, and the chance to help shape a completely new business.
